Dustin Cody Thomas, 48, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, following a tragic accident. He was born in Jasper, Georgia on August 13, 1973, to Jerrell Thomas and Judy Griffin Thomas.
He was employed by Martin Horner Construction, loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed motorcycles, hog hunting, fishing, attended Gordon Central High School and a was country boy at heart.
Dustin is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Julie Padgett Thomas; his children, Kayla and Dustin Davis, Sarah Thomas and Matthew Silvers, Montana Floyd-Thomas, and William Thomas; grandchildren, Jayden, Brynlee, Kyler, Brendan, Layson, Carter, Jasper, and Maddox; parents, Jerrell Thomas and Tina Silvers, and Judy Griffin Thomas; mother-in-law, Debbie Jones; brother and sister-in-law, John and Elizabeth Thomas; sister and brother-in-law, Veronica and Ted Miller, sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Shane Abernathy; uncles and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
