Nola Mae Blaylock

Mrs. Nola Mae Blaylock, 61, of 186 Pack Road, Ranger, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004, along with her husband, Tommy Blaylock, daughter, Georgia Bradley, and granddaughter, Jerri Jones, at their Pack Road residences in Ranger.

She was born in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, on April 21, 1942, daughter of the late Charlie and Mamie Roberts. She owned and operated Nola’s Laundry Service until ill health forced her retirement.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Peeler of Calhoun and Kathy O’Donnell of Ellijay; a son, Starline Baker of Athens, Tennessee; four stepdaughters, Bonnie Peeler of Calhoun, Laurel Blaylock of Temple, Karen Jean Blaylock of Rome, and Kimberly Simpson of Cartersville; four stepsons, Dennis Peeler of Athens, Tennessee; Daniel Peeler and Johnny Peeler, both of Calhoun; and Tommy Dean Blaylock of Sharpsburg; four sisters, Iler Mitchell of Tellico, Ina Sutton of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Della Thomas and Blanche Derick both of Chatsworth; a dear friend, Athel Baker; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
