Mr. Tommy Gene Blaylock, 61, of 186 Pack Road, Ranger, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004, along with his wife, Nola Mae Blaylock, stepdaughter, Georgia Bradley, and step-granddaughter, Jerri Jones at their Pack Road residences in Ranger.
He was born in Gordon County on December 8, 1942, son of the late Cicero and Addie Ivalee Corn Blaylock. He was self-employed as a timberman.
Survivors include three daughters, Laurel Blaylock of Temple, Karen Jean Blaylock of Rome, and Kimberly Simpson of Cartersville; a son, Tommy Dean Blaylock of Sharpsburg; two stepdaughters, Melissa Peeler of Calhoun and Kathy O’Donnell of Ellijay; a stepson, Starline Baker of Athens, Tennessee; three sisters, Debbie Potts of Resaca, Rita Garner of Fort Oglethorpe, and Margie Pack of Oakman; four brothers, Buford Blaylock and Carter Blaylock, both of Calhoun, and Roy and Michael Blaylock, both of Chatsworth; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
